North Sydney – Cape Breton North MLA, Cecil Clarke, is pleased the provincial government has supported the Sydney Harbour dredge initiative.  The provincial government committed $15.2 million towards the $38 million cost of the dredge.
 

Scott calls for improved courthouse security

Leader's statement in response to Auditor General's forensic audit

Today, Auditor General, Jacques LaPointe, released the findings of his forensic audit. He has determined that four former Members and one current Member of the House of Assembly may have committed illegal acts related to their constituency expense claims. According to the Auditor General, those files were turned over to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) last Wednesday, May 12.
