INVERNESS – A $351,000 investment is being made into one of Nova Scotia’s most beautiful attractions, the Cabot Trail.

“The Cabot Trail is one of the Nova Scotia tourism industry’s greatest assets,” said Inverness MLA Allan MacMaster. “Government is wise to focus investment in this signature destination for travelers from around the world.”

The $351,000 investment will be made by federal and provincial governments to restore view planes so that visitors can fully appreciate the scenic beauty of The Cabot Trail.

“I would like to thank the ministers responsible for Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, Peter MacKay and Keith Ashfield, as well as the provincial government for investing to help our region continue to provide a world class tourism product,” said MacMaster.
