MacMaster to be sworn in as MLA November 25

INVERNESS - Allan MacMaster will be sworn in as Member of the Legislative Assembly for Inverness on Wednesday, November 25th at 1:00pm at Province House in Halifax.
Elected in the October 20th by-election, MacMaster will now officially become a Member of the Nova Scotia Legislature.
“For the people of Inverness, my swearing in means they will be represented in the Spring 2010 session of the Legislature,” commented MacMaster. “Government will be deciding how the financial treasury will operate and it will be important for the interests of our region to be supported.”
Inverness is one of 52 seats in the Legislature. The area extends north from the Town of Port Hawkesbury beyond Cape Breton Highlands National Park to Meat Cove, and easterly from the western coastline of Cape Breton Island to Victoria County.
