BIG BRAS D’OR, NS – Victoria-The Lakes MLA Keith Bain says he is hopeful that a $3.1 million investment into Nova Scotia’s Signature Resorts will ensure Keltic Lodge is ready for the 2012 tourism season.

“I brought the need for improvements at Keltic Lodge to the NDP’s attention some time ago and I will continue to be a strong advocate moving forward,” said Bain. “It’s been a long time coming and I hope the investment will be enough to ensure Keltic has a premiere role as a tourist attraction in Nova Scotia. Its importance to the Ingonish area as an employer and as an economic driver is significant.”

Bain says the upgrades will help restore Keltic’s reputation as a first-class destination.

“I hope the proposed upgrades begin immediately at Keltic Lodge in order to be completed for the 2012 tourism season,” said Bain.
